La Escuela de la Madre Tierra empezó en el 2007 con la idea de crear un espacio para re conectarse con la NATURALEZA y sentir que tan importante es conocer la Medicina Tradicional, y el Medio Ambiente en nuestro presente para mejorar nuestro futuro. El conocimiento de varias tradiciones han ayudado a la gente a encontrar balance en su vida. Es por eso que creemos que en estos tiempos modernos es necesario buscar dentro de las antiguas tradiciones, de los pueblos o comunidades indígenas una ayuda para reconectarnos nuevamente con la Madre Tierra. En la actualidad nos preguntamos: Cómo poder vivir en armonía en el mundo? Todo en la naturaleza tiene su balance, nosotros los seres humanos, también. No importa que tan fuerte sea el intento de desconectarnos, la naturaleza está a nuestro alrededor, ella nos enraiza. Vivimos aquí con la Madre Tierra. Vamos uniéndonos y compartiendo conocimiento, es nuestra meta.
Estamos muy contentos de anunciar que desde el 2011 somos los Representantes oficiales del Instituto Mexicano de Medicinas Tradicionales, Tlahuilli AC., en Baja California esta prestigiosa organización compartirá cursos, talleres y eventos como el Festival de Medicina Tradiconal de las Américas, evento que realizamos en conjunto con la Fiesta de la Planta Medicinal en la que el Mtro. Brian Horbeck participa año con año.
School of the Mother Earth began as an idea to create an environment where people could learn traditions from the Mother Earth. Sharing ways to heal ourselves and the planet. Using knowledge from various traditions to help people to find a balance in their lives. We believe that in these modern times it is necessary to look to the ancient earth based traditions, of the indigenous peoples of the world, for help. Asking ourselves how is it possible to live in harmony with the world around us? All things in nature are seeking balance. We, human beings, are also seeking our balance. No matter how hard we try we can not disconnect ourselves from nature. We are a part of the natural world around us. We live here with the Mother Earth. Gathering and sharing knowledge is our goal. We are pleased to announce that since 2011 we are the official representatives of the Mexican Institute of Traditional Medicine, Tlahuilli AC., here in Baja California. We are working with this prestigious organization sharing courses, workshops and events like the Festival of Tradiconal Medicine of the Americas, an event conducted in conjunction with the Mexican National Festival of Medicinal Plants where Brian Horbeck has participated since 2001.
